In the latest AASHE Sustainable Campus Index, UConn stood out especially in coordination & planning, and engagement, building upon years of growth in sustainability efforts across academics, operations, and administration. Students are deeply involved, from internships and peer education to creating tools like an Environmental Justice Toolkit and participating in strategic advisory councils.
