Fast-track your path to purpose-driven leadership with UConn’s Accelerated Master of Science in Social Responsibility & Impact in Business (MSSRIB), a social impact graduate program designed as a powerful alternative to a traditional MBA. Tailored for UConn undergraduate students, this accelerated master’s in sustainability and corporate social responsibility equips you with the skills needed for responsible business practices. Courses are offered on the Storrs campus and online, blending rigorous business training with real-world application in business for good. Build expertise aligned with human rights, sustainability, and socially responsible business practices while advancing your career through a streamlined graduate pathway. Join a new generation of leaders driving meaningful change in business and society.
How it Works
As a UConn undergraduate student who has completed 54 credits, you can apply to the Accelerated MSSRIB program. If accepted, you can begin taking MSSRIB graduate courses, and count (12) 5000-level credits toward both your undergraduate and MSSRIB degrees. The MSSRIB requires 30 credits of coursework.
This Accelerated MSSRIB option may be particularly appealing to UConn students who are planning to complete a marketing concentration in SRIB, or those completing a minor in SRIB. However, students from all majors are welcome and current accelerated students come from a wide variety of majors including communications, human rights, political science and environmental studies. After your undergraduate degree, courses that prepare you for purpose-driven careers in Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainability, and socially responsible business will be available in-person at the Hartford campus and online.

For current UConn undergraduate students, application to the Acclerated MSSRIB program involves a two-step process, including a Pre-Graduate Program application for the undergraduate phase of the Accelerated program, followed by a Graduate Program application to the MSSRIB program.
