We are proud to share that UConn business students placed Top 3 at the prestigious Boston University Questrom $50K Sustainability Case Competition, competing against 86 teams from institutions including Columbia, MIT, Cornell, and Yale.
The team tackled a complex challenge at the intersection of cryptocurrency, sustainability, and higher education, developing OpenKey, a university-focused digital asset storage and education platform. Judges praised the proposal for its originality, rigor, and strong presentation.
A special shoutout to Tina Ngo, an accelerated MSSRIB student, whose curiosity, collaboration, and willingness to step outside her comfort zone exemplify what the MSSRIB program is all about: applying ethical, sustainability-driven thinking to emerging business challenges.
This achievement highlights the value of experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and real-world problem solving, skills our students carry forward into impactful careers.
